Joey Pruett, AIA
Joey is a fully licensed architect with 10+ years of experience producing works that speak to the fundamentals of formal simplicity and site specific design with an objective to strengthen the human experience between the built and natural environment.
A portfolio spanning an expansive range of scales and typologies, from private homes, restaurants, schools, hotels, residence halls and large master plans along with a broad academic background has informed his ability to synthesize ideas from larger site contexts down to the smallest construction details… with the consideration of how each relates to one another being pivotal to the A21 design ethos of building interrelated experiences of architecture, art and nature.
Prior to founding A21, Joey worked on multiple AIA award winning projects under the mentorship of Scott Lindenau, FAIA while at Studio B Architects in Aspen and Boulder. Since 2013, he has been a Studio Instructor, Guest Critic and student mentor with the College of Architecture & Planning at the University of Colorado Denver.
